A 15-year-old child trapped in a parked car in Antalya's Manavgat district was found unconscious by his father. The child, believed to have suffered heatstroke due to extreme heat and lack of air, was taken to Antalya Education and Research Hospital for intensive care after initial intervention. LOCKED IN THE VEHICLE

The incident occurred in Demirciler Neighborhood, located along the Manavgat-Alanya D-400 highway. According to claims, 15-year-old E.Y. entered the parked vehicle in front of their home while his mother and father were not at home. The child, locked inside the vehicle for an unknown reason, fell ill due to hot weather and lack of air.

FATHER FOUND HIM UNCONSCIOUS

The father, returning from the field, found his son unconscious on the back seat of the vehicle. It was learned that the child had removed his clothes due to being overwhelmed by the extreme heat. Upon notification of the situation, medical teams and gendarmerie were dispatched to the scene.

LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION

After initial intervention by medical teams at the scene, E.Y. was taken to Manavgat State Hospital by ambulance. Due to his serious condition, he was later transferred to Antalya Education and Research Hospital, where he was reported to be under treatment in the intensive care unit. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
