First statement from Kenan Doğulu, whose drug test result came out positive

Famous singer Kenan Doğulu, who was detained as part of a drug investigation and tested positive for drugs, has made his first statement. Sharing the result of a test he took himself, Doğulu said, 'I took a test and it came out negative. I am saddened to see my name mentioned in some allegations that do not reflect the truth. My faith in justice is complete.'

Within the scope of the investigation conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, proceedings were initiated against 23 suspects, including famous names. It was noted that evidence regarding various crimes was obtained through the suspects' social media posts and technical and physical surveillance efforts. As part of the investigation, the suspects provided blood and hair samples at the Forensic Medicine Institute.

DRUG TEST RESULTS POSITIVE FOR 8 INDIVIDUALS

As a result of the examination of the samples, it was reported that the drug tests of Ali Efe Bezci, Berdan Mardini, Enis Arıkan, Kenan Doğulu, Oğuzhan Beker, Ozan Doğulu, Tolga Çam, and Yaşar İpek came out positive.

KENAN DOĞULU SHARED THE TEST HE HAD DONE HIMSELF

The first statement came from famous singer Kenan Doğulu. Sharing the result of the test he had done himself, Doğulu said in a statement on his social media account: "I see with regret that my name is being mentioned today with some allegations that do not reflect the truth. Following my testimony at the prosecutor's office within the scope of the ongoing investigation and the examinations of the Forensic Medicine Institute, I had urine, blood, and hair tests done at a laboratory approved by the Ministry of Health, at my own request, on the same night.

"THE RESULT CAME OUT NEGATIVE"

I would like to share that the first result of these tests, the urine analysis, came out negative as expected, and I have no doubt that the blood and hair analyses will yield the same result. My faith in justice is complete; I wholeheartedly believe that this process will gain clarity as soon as possible and the truth will be revealed."
