Bank of Scotland has placed Napoli footballer Scott McTominay's iconic scissor kick on the 20-pound note.

MCTOMINAY'S SCISSOR KICK ON THE 20-POUND BANKNOTE

In a statement from the Royal Bank of Scotland, it was said: "Only 100 pieces are available; 50 of them will be distributed, 25 in a raffle, and 25 in an auction. Now you might have a chance to win one."

PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED

The statement noted that the raffle and auction starting on May 22 will end on June 26, with proceeds donated to a foundation fighting homelessness. The banknote featuring McTominay was issued to celebrate the Scottish National Team qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1998, after defeating Denmark 4-2 on November 18, 2025. Scott McTominay scored the team's first goal in that match.
