5-year-old Emsal Y., who got a knife in his eye while playing with a knife from the kitchen in Bursa, was taken to the hospital. The 5-year-old child was referred to Bursa Uludağ University Hospital due to the deep wound in his eye, and an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
A 5-year-old boy named Emsal Y. in the İnegöl district of Bursa was taken to the hospital after a knife he was playing with in the kitchen stabbed his eye. The incident occurred on Arap Cami Street in Sinanbey neighborhood of İnegöl. The child, Emsal Y., stabbed his left eye with a bread knife he took from the kitchen. The mother noticed that her son's eye was injured and called the 112 Emergency Call Center for help.
INSUFFICIENT FIRST AID WAS PERFORMED
The health workers who arrived at the scene bandaged the child's eye and transported him to the district state hospital by ambulance. After being examined there, Emsal Y. was referred to Bursa Uludağ University Hospital due to the depth of the wound in his eye. İnegöl District Police Department initiated an investigation into the incident, which occurred as a result of carelessness and negligence.
