Neighbors of 71-year-old Mehmet Doğan, who lived alone in Batman, reported the situation to the teams after a bad smell came from his house when they could not reach him. Upon the report, health and police teams arriving at the address found Doğan motionless next to his bed. Doğan, who was determined to have lost his life during the examination, was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
71-year-old Mehmet Doğan, who lived alone in Batman, was found dead in his home. The incident occurred in the Korik neighborhood and came to light when neighbors, who had not heard from Doğan for a while, noticed a foul odor coming from his house.
Suspicious of the situation, the neighbors called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report it. Following the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the address.
NEIGHBORS NOTICED THE BAD ODOR
Neighbors who could not reach Mehmet Doğan, who lived alone in his house on Korik Street, became concerned upon noticing the bad odor coming from the house.
Unable to reach the 71-year-old Doğan, the neighbors notified the authorities and asked for help. After the report was made, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were quickly dispatched to the area.
The teams entered the reported house and conducted an inspection inside.
FOUND MOTIONLESS BESIDE HIS BED
Upon entering the house, the teams found Mehmet Doğan motionless beside his bed. Health officials then checked on the 71-year-old Doğan.
As a result of the checks, it was determined that Mehmet Doğan had lost his life.
After the examinations at the scene, Mehmet Doğan's body was removed from the house where he was found. The body was taken to the morgue of Batman Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy.
