CHP Spokesperson Muslim Sari, speaking to Aykut Dis from Aydinlik newspaper, directly responded to the transfer claims that have been stirring Ankara's political circles. Stating that their communication with Mansur Yavas is extremely strong, Sari drew attention to the harmony between the party leadership and Yavas, saying, "Mansur Yavas is our metropolitan municipality mayor. We constantly talk and meet. As the central headquarters, we have no problem. There is no coldness either." In the most critical part of the statement, Sari, directly referring to Yavas's own decision, put an end to all ongoing discussions with the words, "He said he wants to continue his political career under the roof of the CHP."
