A chef who was allegedly in debt to his surroundings due to online gambling in Antalya was found dead in the kitchen of the workplace where he worked. While the police focused on the possibility of suicide, the lifeless body of the chef was placed in the funeral vehicle while his colleagues shed tears.

The incident occurred around 09:30 in a workplace located on 3805 street in the Kültür neighborhood of Kepez district in Antalya. In the morning, employees who opened the workplace found Ömer Y. (40), who was working as a head chef, lying motionless in the kitchen section covered in blood. Emergency health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification, and it was determined that Ömer Y. had passed away.

HE BORROWED MONEY FROM HIS CIRCLE DUE TO GAMBLING





It is claimed that Ömer Y. experienced psychological problems because he borrowed over 200,000 TL from his circle due to gambling and had difficulty paying it back. After the examination by the prosecutor's office and the Crime Scene Investigation team, Ömer Y.'s lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. Meanwhile, it was observed that Ömer Y.'s colleagues shed tears while his lifeless body was being transported to the funeral vehicle. Police teams focused on the possibility of suicide in relation to the incident.
