Nine-year-old Ahmet Özlen, who fell into a water-filled pit while playing near his home in Şanlıurfa, lost his life. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
Ahmet Özlen (9), who fell into a water-filled pit while playing near his home in Şanlıurfa, lost his life. The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Büyükotluca neighborhood of the Eyyübiye district. While playing near his home, Ahmet Özlen lost his balance and fell into the water-filled pit. Those nearby noticed the situation and immediately reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health, fire, UMKE, and Gendarmerie Search and Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification.
THE UNFORTUNATE CHILD'S BODY WAS TAKEN TO THE MORGUE
The teams removed the child from the location and handed him over to the health teams. The health team determined that Ahmet Özlen had lost his life. Özlen's lifeless body was taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
