A striking response came from Tehran to U.S. President Donald Trump's threat of a harsh attack on Iran. The Iranian army stated that conflicts in the Middle East would continue until the U.S. and Israel surrender, adding that subsequent operations would be "more overwhelming, broader in scope, and more destructive."

As Iran enters the 34th day of the war, U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the nation. Stating that 13 U.S. soldiers have died in the Iran War, Trump said, "We will complete all of America's military targets in a short time. In the next 2-3 weeks, we will hit them hard and take them back to the Stone Age. We have not targeted the oil infrastructure for now, but we can. The radar systems have been destroyed."

HARSH MESSAGE FROM IRAN: THE OTHER SIDE WILL FACE SURRENDER

Following Trump's threat, Ibrahim Zulfikari, spokesperson for Iran's Armed Forces' joint command center Hatemü'l Enbiya, made a statement. Zulfikari announced that Tehran would continue its military operations, expressing that the other side would face "permanent regret and surrender."

"OPERATIONS WILL CONTINUE INTENSIVELY AND EFFECTIVELY"

The Iranian official argued that the assessments of the U.S. and Israel regarding Iran's military capacity are "incomplete." The statement emphasized that future operations would continue in a more intense and effective manner.

STATEMENT FROM IRAN ON HORMUZ

On the other hand, Ali Akbar Velayati, the chief advisor to Iranian leader Mujtaba Khamenei and one of the country's prominent politicians, stated that the Strait of Hormuz would remain "closed to Iran's enemies and their bases."

In a message shared on the social media platform of the U.S.-based X company, Velayati said, "The Strait of Hormuz is open to the world, but it will always remain closed to the enemies of the Iranian people and their bases in the region."

TENSIONS ESCALATE

The Iranian side indicated that new operations would be "more overwhelming, broader in scope, and more destructive," signaling that tensions in the region could further escalate.
