THEY FEEL ILL AFTER EATING CHERRIES
The incident occurred in the village of Karabey, Tosya district. According to information obtained, Ahmet Derin and his wife Rahime Derin became ill some time after eating cherries they picked from a tree on Wednesday, July 1st. Upon notification by relatives, health teams arrived at the scene and took the couple to Tosya State Hospital. After initial treatment there, they were referred to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital.

Ahmet Derin, who was under treatment, could not be saved despite all medical interventions and died. It was learned that his wife Rahime Derin continues to receive treatment in intensive care.
