Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made a statement regarding the U.S. intervention in Venezuela.

EMPHASIS ON "NATIONAL INTEREST" IN FOREIGN POLICY

In a statement made on his social media account, Yılmaz noted that foreign policy is a distinctive area governed by reason, based on principles and realities, and centered on national interests, rather than the delusions, daily approaches, and irresponsible statements of the main opposition.

"WE WILL CONTINUE TO STAND BY THE PEOPLE OF VENEZUELA"

Emphasizing that leadership is always important, Yılmaz stated: "In times when uncertainties, power politics, and chaos dominate the global system, it becomes even more crucial and vital. The experienced and resolute leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a great asset during this challenging period our world and region are going through. We have seen this reality in the crises experienced in the context of Syria, Ukraine, and Gaza. In the crisis occurring in Venezuela, as the Republic of Turkey, we will continue to uphold international law, respect for national will, and stand by the people of Venezuela, advocating for stability in dialogue with all parties."
