Agricultural workers painting a house in the Polatlı district of Ankara were poisoned. Eight people, believed to have been poisoned by an additive in the paint, were hospitalized. It was reported that the condition of three agricultural workers and one baby is serious.
In the Polatlı district of Ankara, 8 people, including 3 agricultural workers and a baby, who are thought to have been poisoned by the additive they put into the paint while doing painting and renovation in the house they were staying in, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
THEY FAINTED WHILE PAINTING AT HOME
The incident occurred on Ermiş Street in Yenimahalle, located in the Polatlı district of Ankara. According to allegations, 3 agricultural workers who wanted to do painting and renovation in the house they were staying in, along with a baby present in the house, fainted due to the additive added to the paint.
THE CONDITION OF 3 AGRICULTURAL WORKERS AND THE BABY IS SERIOUS
Upon the report of a neighbor who fortuitously saw the workers and the baby fainting, 112 emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial interventions were made at the scene, 4 people were transferred to Bilkent City Hospital. It was learned that the condition of the 3 agricultural workers and the baby present in the house, who were evaluated to have been poisoned due to the additive, is serious.
4 MORE PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL
AFAD Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Threats (CBRN) experts have initiated an investigation regarding the incident. According to the information obtained, 4 more people, including 3 children, were transferred to the hospital with suspected poisoning. Thus, the number of people transferred to the hospital has risen to 8.
