WHAT HAPPENED?

Security sources, reminding of the March 10 agreement, stated that if the conditions are not met, the Syrian government could conduct operations for the integrity of the country, and Turkey would support this.

ERDOĞAN: THE MARCH 10 AGREEMENT MUST BE FOLLOWED

President Erdoğan also delivered a striking message at the "16th Ambassadors Conference" held at the Beştepe National Exhibition Hall in Ankara. Erdoğan stated, "The March 10 Agreement must be implemented without fail. Israel's attacks are an obstacle in front of Syria. It is clear who will benefit from the fragmentation of Syria."

MINISTER GÜLER: WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

National Defense Minister Güler also issued a notable warning regarding the terrorist organization SDG in Syria. Yaşar Güler stated, "In order for the process to operate and continue healthily, the PKK terrorist organization and all affiliated groups must immediately cease their terrorist activities in all regions they are located, especially in Syria, in accordance with the dissolution decision and unconditionally surrender their weapons."

Güler emphasized that in order to permanently establish the goal of a "terror-free Turkey," the armed elements in Syria must quickly integrate into the central administration, stating, "We expect the organization to complete this transformation without delay in a way that will prevent external interventions, taking into account the calls for disarmament and integration coming from within itself." Güler also stated that no terrorist organization that would jeopardize peace in the region would be allowed to continue, regardless of the name it operates under. He added, "Recent statements and analyses in the international media also indicate that the YPG-SDG terrorist organization is being attempted to be used as an apparatus by regional actors to prepare the ground for new geopolitical engineering. This situation poses a direct threat not only to Syria but also to Turkey's national security."

AN ARMY OF 80,000 WILL BE SENT TO THE REGION

The Syrian army has completed its preparations for a comprehensive operation following the expiration of the deadline given to the PKK-SDG structure. In this context, the deployment of 7 divisions and approximately 80,000 soldiers is planned. It has been stated that this number may increase further depending on developments, and that heavy weapons, as well as drones, helicopters, and fighter jets, will be used in the operation. While reconnaissance UAV–SİHA flights have been intensified in the Deir ez-Zor, Tişrin-Karakozak, Tabqa, Halsa, Ayn İsa, and Raqqa fronts, the point designations of the advance units have been made.

WHAT IS THE MARCH 10 AGREEMENT?

On March 10, an eight-article integration agreement was signed between the Syrian Interim President Ahmed Şara and SDG's Mazlum Abdi. The agreed-upon articles of the agreement were as follows:

"- Guaranteeing the right of all Syrians to participate in the political process and all state institutions based on merit, without religious or ethnic discrimination.

- Recognizing the Kurdish community as an inseparable part of the Syrian state and guaranteeing their citizenship and constitutional rights.

- Declaring a ceasefire throughout all Syrian territories to end armed conflicts.

- Integrating the civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria, including border crossings, airports, oil, and natural gas fields, into the Syrian state administration.

- Ensuring that all displaced Syrians can return to their cities and villages and are protected by the Syrian state.

- Supporting the Syrian state's struggle against the remnants of the Assad regime and all threats to Syria's security and unity.

- Rejecting calls aimed at creating division among all segments of Syrian society, hate speech, and attempts to sow discord.

- Ensuring that the executive committees continue their work to implement the agreement by the end of the year at the latest."
