The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, shared a condolence message for Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, who was severely injured by an electric shock and passed away in the hospital where he was being treated. Bahçeli stated, "I extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and the Republican People's Party community, and I wish them patience. May the late Mayor's place be paradise, and may his soul rest in peace."
On the evening of June 6, Friday, 48-year-old Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, who was hospitalized after his heart stopped due to an electric shock, passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.

Following Zeyrek's passing, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli shared a condolence message on his social media account.

Bahçeli stated in his post: "I have sadly learned that Mr. Ferdi Zeyrek, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, has lost his life while receiving treatment in the hospital due to an unfortunate accident he experienced at his home. I extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and the Republican People's Party community, and I wish them patience. May the late Mayor's place be paradise, and may his soul rest in peace."
