THEY TOOK IT FOR LACK OF APPETITE, A BULLET WAS FOUND
The couple decided to adopt the cat, which strengthened their bond, and took it to the veterinary clinic in the central Yenişehir district for both its low food intake and vaccinations.
After the examination conducted by veterinarians Ömer Sağdıç and Furkan Toroğlu, an X-ray revealed that the cat, named "Amber," had a bullet in its hip.
The cat, which regained its health after the bullet was removed through surgery, was reunited with the couple.
"WE WERE SHOCKED BY THE X-RAY RESULT"
Ilten stated that he always carries food for stray animals.
He mentioned that the cat they encountered during their trip did not want to leave them, saying:
"When we took the cat in, it got used to us, and we got used to it. We formed a bond very quickly. When we saw that there was such a thing in the X-ray result, we were literally shocked. Our veterinarians kindly removed the bullet. The cat is doing very well now."
"THE CAT IS CONTINUING ITS LIFE VERY HAPPILY"
Veterinarian Sağdıç expressed that the couple approached them for the cat's health check, stating, "We performed the surgery because the bullet could cause poisoning if it remained in the body for a long time. The cat is continuing its life very happily."
Toroğlu thanked the couple for their sensitivity, saying, "We removed the bullet from the cat's body, and now everything will be fine. It was adopted from the street, and now it has a beautiful and warm home. We are very happy for it."
