A good news has come from the Social Security Institution (SGK) that concerns millions of citizens. The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, stated, "A 20% increase has been made in the SGK payment amounts for medical supplies such as adult diapers, wheelchairs, hearing aids, as well as sleep and respiratory devices," and announced the tariff under which citizens will spend less.
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that the reimbursement amounts for certain medical supplies and health services provided by the Social Security Institution (SGK) have been increased.
The "Regulation on Amendments to the Health Implementation Communiqué of the Social Security Institution" has been published in the Official Gazette.
Sharing on his social account, Minister Işıkhan stated that they have made new regulations in the Health Implementation Communiqué (SUT) to strengthen access to health services.
"A 20% INCREASE IN SGK REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNTS HAS BEEN ACHIEVED"
Stating that they have increased the amounts for specialized procedures in SUT, Işıkhan provided the details as follows: "The amounts paid for newborn applications and pediatric surgery procedures, emergency service red zone procedures, nuclear medicine and interventional services, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and chemotherapy procedures have been increased. A 20% increase has been achieved in SGK reimbursement amounts for medical supplies such as patient diapers, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and sleep and respiratory devices. Innovative medical supplies used in the high-resolution imaging of bile ducts and the treatment of heart rhythm disorders have been included in the reimbursement scope. Another drug used in the treatment of Fabry disease has been added to the reimbursement list."
