Dr. Yörük, who was seriously injured during the incident, was treated in the hospital's emergency department. His patient T.S. was subdued by security personnel and taken into custody by the police.
In the Neurosurgery Department of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Training and Research Hospital, a dispute arose for an unknown reason between Dr. Burak Yörük and his patient T.S. who came for treatment during the afternoon hours. During the argument, T.S. stabbed Yörük in the head and various parts of his body.
DOCTOR'S CONDITION IS CRITICAL
With the intervention of security personnel, T.S. was neutralized. Police teams, alerted by the report, took the suspect into custody. The severely injured Yörük was treated in the hospital's emergency department. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
