A family leaving the hospital with their newborn baby in the Izmit district of Kocaeli experienced horror in traffic. Due to a "right of way" issue, the driver they argued with pulled a gun on the family with the baby. Following a complaint, police teams detained the driver who brandished the weapon.
An incident that made people say "wow" occurred yesterday around 11:30 AM in the Yenişehir neighborhood of İzmit district in Kocaeli. Tuncay E. set out with his wife Meyrem E., who had given birth a day earlier at a private hospital in the district, and their newborn baby Duru E. to take them home.
A GUN WAS DRAWN ON THE FAMILY WITH A BABY
While driving, a verbal argument broke out between Tuncay E. and the driver of an SUV, B.V., allegedly over a "right of way" issue. As the argument escalated, B.V. showed a gun towards Tuncay E.'s vehicle from the SUV. In response, Tuncay E. got out of his stopped vehicle and recorded the SUV and B.V. with his mobile phone. Later, B.V. drove away from the area in the SUV.
HE WAS DETAINED
Tuncay E. went to the police to file a complaint. As part of the investigation, the police detained B.V. with the gun that was believed to have been used in the incident. It was learned that B.V. was undergoing processing at the police station.
