In the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, during an argument caused by alcohol, father Seyit Ahmet Aksoy stabbed his son İbrahim Aksoy multiple times. The son, severely injured, died in the hospital, and the father was taken into custody.

The incident occurred in the Mevlana neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district. According to allegations, an argument broke out between Seyit Ahmet Aksoy (60) and his son İbrahim Aksoy (42) due to alcohol. During the argument, which quickly escalated, the father Seyit Ahmet Aksoy stabbed his son İbrahim Aksoy in various parts of his body.
LOST HIS LIFE
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams who arrived at the scene provided first aid to the seriously injured İbrahim Aksoy and then transported him to Şehitkamil State Hospital. Despite all medical interventions at the hospital, Aksoy lost his life. His body was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
FATHER IN CUSTODY
After the incident, the father and murder suspect Seyit Ahmet Aksoy was taken into custody by teams from the Public Order Branch Directorate's Homicide Bureau. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
