Of the 21 suspects apprehended in connection with the armed brawl that occurred in Iğdır 3 days ago, which resulted in 2 deaths and 6 injuries, 9 have been arrested and sent to prison.

GUNS WERE USED IN A FIGHT BETWEEN TWO FAMILIES: 2 DEAD, 6 INJURED
The incident occurred on Saturday, April 11, in Karakuyu village. An argument that broke out between two families for a reason yet to be determined turned into a fight. During the fight, 8 people were injured by a gun, and it is still unknown who fired it. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The 8 people injured in the fight were taken by ambulance to Iğdır State Hospital. Among the injured who were taken into treatment, Ahmet Temel and Mehmet Temel, whose conditions were serious, could not be saved despite doctors' intervention.
9 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Following the incident, the 21 suspects who were detained and whose procedures at the gendarmerie were completed were referred to the courthouse under heavy security measures on charges of "intentional killing." While 9 of the suspects were arrested by the judgeship they were brought before, 12 were released, 6 of them under judicial control conditions.
