The Women's National Volleyball Team defeated Latvia 3-0 in the first match of Group A of the Trendyol 2026 European Women's Volleyball Championship.

Türkiye was the side that started the match effectively. With Elif Şahin's service ace, the difference increased to 5 points (11-6), prompting Latvia to take a timeout.
