The incident occurred in the morning hours at a home in the Sanayi Neighborhood of Kızıltepe district. According to information obtained, Mahmut İslam Durak was wounded when the shotgun he was playing with at home went off for a reason not yet determined.
When his relatives heard the gunshot and entered the room, they found Durak covered in blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
HE LOST HIS LIFE IN THE HOSPITAL
Durak, who was seriously wounded, was taken by ambulance to Kızıltepe State Hospital after initial medical intervention at the scene by health teams.
The 18-year-old young man, who was taken under treatment at the hospital, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions.
Durak's body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
