A healthcare worker in the state of Georgia was arrested after sharing inappropriate videos of disabled patients on TikTok. 19-year-old Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan is facing charges of abusing a disabled person.

According to a statement from the Loganville Police Department, the viral video shows Koiyan, dressed in blue scrubs, performing an inappropriate dance over the head of a male patient sitting in a wheelchair. In another video shared from the same account, she was found to have exhibited similar behavior towards another patient in a bathtub.

Following a report made to the police on January 23, an investigation was launched, and on January 28, a search was conducted at Koiyan's home, leading to her arrest. The healthcare worker was taken to Walton County Jail and was released on bail the following day.

In defense of the account that shared the videos, it was stated, "People are talking about sexual assault and harassment, but that's not the case. The patient can communicate verbally."

The incident has sparked a debate about the use of social media by healthcare workers and patient rights.
