HE STABBED HIS PARENTS AND ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

According to the information received, a dispute broke out between 16-year-old high school student H.U.B., his father Barış B., and mother N.B. in an apartment on 1343 Street in Uğur Mumcu Neighborhood last night. As the argument escalated, H.U.B. stabbed his parents and then locked himself in the room, attempting suicide.

FATHER COULD NOT BE SAVED

Upon receiving reports from the neighbors, health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams found the mother and father injured as they exited the house. Later, breaking the balcony door, the teams entered the room and found H.U.B. injured. The injured were taken to Menemen State Hospital by health teams. Despite intervention, father Barış B. could not be saved. It was learned that H.U.B., who was transferred to Çiğli Training and Research Hospital after the first intervention, was in critical condition.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

The lightly injured mother N.B. stated in her testimony that after the argument, their son attacked them with a knife and threatened to commit suicide. The investigation initiated regarding the incident is ongoing.
