U.S. President Donald Trump met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House. They reached agreements in many areas, from F-35 sales to nuclear cooperation. We are officially designating Saudi Arabia as a Major Non-NATO Ally."

According to a statement made at the White House, Trump approved the sale of F-35s. This will be the first F-35 sale by the US to a Middle Eastern country outside of Israel. Additionally, it was reported that Saudi Arabia will purchase approximately 300 American tanks.

Furthermore, an agreement was made in the field of "civil nuclear energy cooperation." While this means that American nuclear technology doors will be opened to Saudi Arabia, the statement also conveyed a message that "this technology should not turn into nuclear weapons." It was noted that "cooperation will be conducted according to non-proliferation standards."

The two countries will also advance cooperation in critical minerals and artificial intelligence. The Saudi Crown Prince announced that they will raise investments in the US from $600 billion to approximately $1 trillion.

Selman expressed that he believes the relations between the two countries will deepen in many areas that will contribute to the economies of both countries in the coming decades.

Stating that many opportunities will arise for Saudi Arabia with the signed agreement with the US, Crown Prince bin Salman indicated that they will spend approximately $50 billion in the semiconductor field, and in the long term, this amount could reach hundreds of billions of dollars.

The US President stated that they are ready to sell F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia and that these jets are expected to be at the same level as the F-35s owned by Israel.

Trump, stating that both Israel and Saudi Arabia are "major allies of the US," turned to Mohammed bin Salman and said, "I know they (Israel) want you to buy lower caliber planes. However, I don't think that will make you very happy. In my opinion, both should be at a level where they have top-level equipment (F-35 jets)."
