President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at his party's group meeting, commented on the poisoning tragedy that claimed the lives of the four-member Böcek family who came to Istanbul for a vacation from Germany, stating, "Anyone who has negligence, mistakes, faults, or intent will be identified one by one. No one will be spared."

President Erdoğan made a statement regarding the incident in which the four-member Böcek family, who came to Istanbul for a vacation from Germany, lost their lives, and the fire disaster in a cosmetics factory in Kocaeli Dilovası, where 7 people lost their lives.
"NO ONE WILL BE SPARED"
Stating that the investigations are being conducted with great sensitivity, Erdoğan said, "Anyone who has negligence, mistakes, faults, or intent will be identified one by one. No one will be spared."
PLANE CRASH THAT COST US 20 MARTYRS
Referring to the plane crash that cost us 20 martyrs, Erdoğan said, "I once again pray for the mercy of Allah for our soldiers, whom we bid farewell to with tears last week, and for our fire-fighting plane pilot, and I wish their families my condolences. The investigations regarding the plane crash are being conducted comprehensively and meticulously. The findings of the expert team will be shared with the public."
UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES
Recalling the unemployment figures, Erdoğan stated, "According to the statistics for the third quarter of 2025, the unemployment rate was realized at 8.5%. The unemployment rate has been in single digits for 29 months. We are reaping the results of our economic program. As of October 2025, our annualized exports reached the highest level in history at 270.2 billion dollars. I hope that these developments, which make us all happy as a nation, will be beneficial. We achieved these successes despite the hot conflicts in our region and trade wars. I once again congratulate our exporting organizations, business people, workers, ministries, and bureaucrats, and I express my gratitude to them."
THE OPPOSITION IS PURSUING PERSONAL INTERESTS
Continuing his speech, Erdoğan criticized the opposition and said:
"While the CHP Chairman and his companions only produce lies and polemics, we are producing 23 new houses in 2 hours and 550 new houses a day. As the government and the alliance, we are running to serve the country and the nation, to solve problems, while the main opposition is chasing their own interests and personal accounts. There is no service or work to compete with us. There is no vision to produce solutions to the people's problems. Instead, there is plenty of swearing, insults, and political rudeness. There is an effort to silence every dissenting voice. They showed a video at the group meeting. Of course, when there is not a single work or service, they are left with only corruption files. If they go through this, they will have no trouble finding material to make videos. From baklava boxes to money towers, there is enough material for them for at least a few years. I hope the main opposition can overcome this syndrome of exhaustion."
"I LEAVE THE STYLE OF CHP MANAGEMENT TO MY NOBLE NATION"
"In our 23 years of efforts, we found the status quo and the representative of the status quo, the CHP, in front of us. They did not want to lose their privileges. Those who used the judiciary as a backup force until yesterday are now labeling the legal fate of the criminal network that has descended upon Istanbul like a nightmare as a political conspiracy. We do not understand why the CHP is persistently trying to make us a party. Mr. Özel should not forget that we are neither a party to their micro power struggles nor to the case filled with disgraceful accusations. Our expectation is a fair and impartial trial, the revelation of the truth, and holding the guilty accountable before the law. This account cannot be closed with political sleight of hand or suppressing crimes. This account cannot be closed by targeting judicial members with the cunning that the best defense is an attack. The number one defendant in this case is your mayor or your mayors. The informants and confessors of this case are also your people. We are not anywhere in this case and we have not been. We see that they are trying to politicize this case and dilute it, just like our nation does. Keeping the judicial authorities working within legal limits should be our common sensitivity. Attacking judicial members who are doing their job will not benefit anyone. I leave the increasingly aggressive and ugly style of the CHP management to my noble nation. We expect the leader of the main opposition party to act with the maturity befitting the seat he occupies."
