A lawyer named Alpaslan Köybaşı, who had been staying at the intercity bus terminal in Kahramanmaraş for about 10 days, was found motionless in a resting chair and passed away. Köybaşı, who is believed to have suffered a heart attack, was taken to the forensic medicine department.

LAWYER WHO STAYED AT THE BUS STATION FOR 10 DAYS PASSES AWAY

The incident occurred at the intercity bus terminal in the Malik Ejder neighborhood of the central Onikişubat district. According to the information received, the municipal police noticed Alpaslan Köybaşı motionless in a passenger waiting chair after he had been at the bus station for approximately 10 days and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Command Center. The center directed police and health teams to the area. Health teams determined that the individual had passed away upon their arrival.

SUSPECTED HEART ATTACK

After the examination, it was learned that Köybaşı was a lawyer, and his body was taken to the forensic medicine department. It is assessed that the individual died of a heart attack, while the exact cause will be determined after the autopsy. It was revealed that the lawyer, who was registered with the Istanbul Bar Association, had last consumed soup at the bus station around 5:00 AM and had gone to the restroom around 7:00 AM.
