TRUCK DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL
Bello Muhammed, a Sokoto state official of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, announced that the accident occurred on the Sokoto-Yauri highway.
Muhammed stated that the truck driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing a collision with the passenger bus, and according to initial reports, 18 people died.
SOME OF THE INJURED ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Muhammed reported that many injured people were taken to the hospital, and noted that some of the injured are in serious condition.
