A motorcycle collided with a light commercial vehicle in Mersin: 2 dead, 1 injured.

In the incident that occurred on Menderes Street in the Tömük neighborhood of Erdemli district in Mersin; at midnight, a light commercial vehicle with the license plate 16 ARC 597, driven by H.Y., collided head-on with a motorcycle with the license plate 33 VMD 95, driven by Gökhan Karadağ. As a result of the collision, motorcycle rider Karadağ and his passenger Mehmet Tarım were thrown off and lost their lives at the scene, while the vehicle driver was injured.

2 YOUNG PEOPLE TRAGICALLY LOST THEIR LIVES

Upon notification from witnesses of the accident, health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The injured vehicle driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The two young individuals who lost their lives at the scene were taken to the hospital morgue after the examination. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
