Fatih Erbakan, the leader of the New Welfare Party, which has burned bridges with the People's Alliance, signaled a new coalition. Erbakan stated that they could form an alliance in the parliamentary elections and mentioned the Future Party, the Good Party, and the Felicity Party.
Fatih Erbakan, the Chairman of the New Welfare Party, made statements regarding the agenda before the meeting of the provincial heads of his party. Erbakan, who made statements on many issues from the economy to politics, ignited the fuse for a new alliance. Stating that they could form an alliance in the parliamentary elections, Erbakan mentioned the Future Party, the Good Party, and counted the Felicity Party.
"IT IS NO LONGER POSSIBLE WITH THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE"
In response to a question about whether there has been a meeting with the sad and angry factions within the AK Party and the New Path Group formed by the DEVA, Future, and Felicity parties, Erbakan said, "Of course, I would like to express that our doors are open to everyone who wants to come to us, and I would also like to express that our New Welfare Party has a high potential for growth and participation because the New Welfare Party is indeed the fastest-growing party in Turkey, both in terms of membership and vote share, and it has become one of Turkey's three major parties. It is a party that upholds the legacy of national vision. Therefore, there is always growth potential. Of course, on the other hand, we have expressed and announced our candidacy for the presidency. We state that there will be no return regarding this. We clearly express that it is no longer possible with the People's Alliance, and we also see that you do not have a barrier problem." he stated.
"WE CAN BE PART OF AN ALLIANCE"
In his statement, Erbakan signaled that a new alliance could be possible, saying, "Because we reached a 7% vote share with 520 thousand votes in the local elections. Today, we believe that we are at an even higher level with 650 thousand members and that we do not have a barrier problem. Of course, despite this, entering the elections more strongly could lead to a synergy, and we could be part of an alliance for the parliamentary elections. This could include the Future Party, the Good Party, and the Felicity Party; we may have the possibility of being in an alliance with these parties, but there has been no discussion about this so far. I am only expressing this as a response to the question, but even if this does not happen, I state that we do not have a problem with overcoming the barrier ourselves." he said.
