A traffic police officer in Gaziantep denied the claims regarding a "fine quota" that are frequently mentioned in public. The officer stated that there is no quota or bonus system for traffic fines, emphasizing that penalties are only applied to those who violate the rules. He highlighted that "if such a system existed, no one would be able to drive properly," stressing that the rumors are unfounded.
A traffic police officer working in Gaziantep clarified the frequently mentioned claims in the public that "traffic police are filling a quota for fines." The officer stated that there is no quota application in traffic fines and that the fines issued are entirely based on rule violations.
"THERE IS NO QUOTA IN TRAFFIC FINES"
The traffic police officer, who said, "There is no such thing as filling a quota," emphasized, "There is no quota in traffic fines, nor is there a limit. We do not receive any bonuses for these. If there were such a thing, no one would be able to drive properly."
