The details of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's support package for the business world have been revealed. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is preparing to implement a new credit package aimed at supporting manufacturing SMEs, which are the backbone of production and employment. The total credit volume of the package, which will be offered with the guarantee of the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF), is set at 30 billion lira, while the guarantee limit has been determined as 25 billion lira.

30 BILLION DOLLAR SUPPORT PACKAGE FOR SMEs
According to information obtained from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, a new support package will be added to those prepared according to the priorities of the sectors. The ministry will provide affordable and accessible financing opportunities to increase the contribution of manufacturing SMEs to sustainable growth and strengthen their competitive power. With the new guarantee package prepared within the framework of supporting the real sector, approximately 30 billion lira in credit will be provided to manufacturing SMEs.
TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN A SHORT TIME
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced that they will implement a support package with a guarantee limit of 25 billion lira, of which 17.5 billion lira will be used for operating expenses and 7.5 billion lira for investment expenditures, through KGF. Şimşek, who provided information that the guarantee rate of the support package will be 85%, stated, "We have set the upper credit limits per beneficiary at 15 million lira for operating expenses and 30 million lira for investment expenditures. We will open the support package, whose protocol phase has been completed, for use in a short time."

Şimşek emphasized the importance of SMEs in the economy and noted: "We continue to support the real sector with selective policies. We are meticulously carrying out our efforts to support financing opportunities to increase the contribution and competitive power of our manufacturing SMEs. With affordable and accessible financing sources, we will strengthen the power of our SMEs."
