Many people from the political world attended the funeral of Ahmet Turgut, known as "Kurdish Ahmet" in Ankara, who passed away at the age of 91. Ahmet Turgut's son, Melih Turgut, who is in prison, also attended the funeral under the escort of gendarmerie. During the burial, Ahmet Turgut's eldest son said, "I know you love Melih and my father. None of you should try to shake hands with Melih to wish him well."

The former mayor of Haymana, Özdemir Turgut's father, and known as "Kurdish Ahmet," Ahmet Turgut, passed away at the age of 91 due to long-standing health issues. Many figures from different political backgrounds attended the funeral.

FAREWELL TO HIS LAST JOURNEY

Before the funeral prayer held at Gülveren Mosque after the afternoon prayer, Turgut's son Özdemir Turgut, along with family members, received condolences. Among those who attended the funeral were AK Party Deputy Osman Gökçek, CHP Deputy Adnan Beker, former Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gökçek, and MHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Alpaslan Doğan. Ahmet Turgut's funeral was buried at Cebeci Asri Cemetery after the funeral prayer.
