In Bandırma, citizens rushed to help a man who collapsed while washing his vehicle at a gas station. The man, who is believed to have suffered a heart attack, could not be saved. CITIZENS INTERVENEDThe incident occurred at a gas station in the Ayyıldız neighborhood of Bandırma. Citizens intervened when Serhat Akgül (51) collapsed while washing his vehicle. One citizen performed CPR and artificial respiration in an effort to save Akgül's life. HE IS BELIEVED TO HAVE SUFFERED A HEART ATTACKHealth teams who arrived at the scene upon notification provided initial intervention to Akgül before transporting him to Bandırma Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. Despite all efforts, Akgül could not be saved. According to initial determinations, Akgül is believed to have suffered a heart attack, and the exact cause of death will be determined following an autopsy at the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
