While sitting in front of his house in Bursa, Özgür Y. was seriously wounded by gunfire from a vehicle with an unidentifiable license plate and died at the hospital where he was taken. Police apprehended two suspects in connection with the incident. The attack was reported to be linked to Özgür Y. and his son injuring their former in-laws with a gun last month.

Özgür Y. (45), residing on Vatan Mahallesi 14. Pınar Sokak, was injured when shots were fired from a vehicle with an unidentifiable license plate while he was sitting in front of his house. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Özgür Y., taken to a private hospital, could not be saved despite interventions.

Police teams initiated an investigation after the victim's daughter stated that the shooters were L.Ç. and S.C. The suspects of the incident, L.Ç. and S.C., were apprehended by Yıldırım Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau teams. Meanwhile, it was learned that Özgür Y. and his son C.Y. had previously injured their former in-laws H.Ç. and B.Ç. with a gun on Engin Sokak 8, Hacivat Mahallesi on April 7th, and that this attack was a continuation of that incident.
