HIGHWAY CLOSED

In the Seine-et-Marne region east of Paris, a small plane crashed onto the A4 highway at around 16:00 local time. Following the accident, multiple teams were dispatched to the scene and the highway was closed in both directions. It was reported that the plane took off from Lognes Airport and the three people on board lost their lives in the crash.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Authorities stated that the plane crashed as a result of hitting the high voltage line and that no vehicles were affected by the accident. The Meaux Prosecutor's Office announced that an investigation has been launched to determine the causes of the crash. The judicial investigation is being conducted by the aviation gendarmerie, while the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Bureau is conducting an administrative investigation.
