Manager Ayşe Barım, who is being tried on the grounds that she is one of the planners of the Gezi Park events in Taksim, appeared before the judge for the second time on charges of "aiding and abetting an attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey." In the hearing, where famous personalities also testified, the court panel decided yesterday to release Barım under judicial control and house arrest, with a request for up to 30 years in prison. Ayşe Barım, who has been detained since January 27, was released from prison two days ago with judicial control measures including a travel ban and house arrest.
