ELEVATOR FALLS FROM 5TH FLOOR TO -4TH FLOOR IN KYK DORMITORY
A young girl, who stated that she is a preparatory program student at Hacettepe University, claimed that the elevator she took alone in the dormitory fell from the 5th floor to the -4th floor.
Sharing her experience through a video on her social media account, the young girl said, "The elevator stopped on the second floor, the lights went out. I stood in the dark for a few minutes. The phone connected to security inside the elevator did not work. There must have been a power outage. I fell to the -4th floor. I can say I fell into a place like a tunnel."
"THE 112 TEAM NEVER LEFT ME ALONE"
Expressing that she called her roommate and the 112 Emergency Call Center in panic, the young girl said, "I gave the exact address. Firefighters, ambulances, and police all came. I really thank them all. They were very attentive. I told them I didn't want to go to the hospital. The 112 team never left me alone."
The young student recalled similar accidents that had previously occurred in KYK dormitories and called on the authorities to take the necessary precautions.
