Şeyma Gökçe, residing on 58th Street in Şehit Osman Avcı Neighborhood of Etimesgut district in Ankara, fell from the 14th floor and lost her life on March 15. An indictment was prepared regarding the investigation into Gökçe's suspicious death.

HER BOYFRIEND WAS SLEEPING IN THE BEDROOM

In the indictment; the police teams who went to the apartment where the woman fell and knocked on the door entered the house with the help of a locksmith. The teams, who determined that there were scattered belongings, a folded carpet, and broken furniture glass pieces blocking the entrance in the corridor at the apartment entrance, detained the victim's boyfriend, Hüseyin Uyucu, who was sleeping in the bedroom.

CLAIMED A JEALOUSY ARGUMENT OCCURRED

The suspect Uyucu, whose statement was included in the indictment, stated that he met Gökçe during his treatment at Bilkent Gaziler Physical Therapy Hospital, and that their friendship turned into a romantic relationship over time. Stating that they started living together after moving to Ankara, Uyucu said, "After we became lovers, she told me that she had been sexually abused at a young age, which caused her psychological issues, that she had attempted suicide several times, that she had run away from home, and that she wanted to die."

Claiming that there was no fight between him and the victim until the day of the incident, Uyucu stated that a discussion arose due to jealousy while they were having breakfast, and that when Gökçe quickly pulled the wardrobe in the bedroom, the mirror of the wardrobe broke.

"I DO NOT ACCEPT THE ALLEGATIONS"

Uyucu continued his statements as follows: "At that time, I did not have my prosthesis on and I was on one leg. Although I tried to calm her down by hugging her so that she wouldn't harm herself, I couldn't because I was on one leg. I asked her to give me my prosthesis and silicone, but she went to the living room and threw a glass on the floor. She came to me, gave me the silicone, and I put on my prosthesis. I tried to calm her down and asked her to wear slippers so that she wouldn't get hurt from the glass shards. For a while, she didn't wear the slippers. The soles of her feet were cut due to the glass shards. During the day, due to my pain, I took a total of 6 of my prescribed pills separately and fell asleep. At that moment, Şeyma was also in bed with me. Şeyma was wearing a burgundy t-shirt belonging to me and a pink tracksuit belonging to her. On the same day, around 19:50, the police entered my house and when they asked me 'where is your girlfriend', I replied 'at home, bro'. When I looked at my residence with the police, I saw that my residence was clean, and Şeyma's suitcase, bags, and packages were in front of the door. At that time, the police asked me questions about Şeyma. I realized that something bad had happened. I do not accept the allegations against me. Our relationship was very good, I loved her, and we were planning to get married."

ALLEGATIONS OF VIOLENCE AND ASSAULT FROM THE MOTHER

The victim's mother, Günnur Ç., who gave a statement as a complainant, also stated that she did not believe her daughter committed suicide and that her daughter had told her that the suspect had been violent towards her. Günnur Ç. said, "Şeyma had told me recently that Hüseyin was following her, that he had installed a program on her phone, and that he was pressuring her. She had also sent me a message regarding this matter. My daughter did not use drugs. However, I later learned from the judicial authorities that she had used drugs according to the forensic report regarding my daughter. Hüseyin Uyucu has introduced my daughter to drugs. I do not believe my daughter committed suicide."

WITNESS REPORTED HEARD FIGHTING NOISES

E.A.H., who testified as a witness, stated that he was the neighbor of the victim and that on the day of the incident, he heard fighting noises from the opposite apartment and later heard a sound similar to a very loud fall.

REQUEST FOR AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENT

The indictment included the following findings: "After the incident, when the law enforcement officers went to the apartment where the victim was thrown and knocked on the door, the door was not opened for about 45 minutes, and then the door was opened with the help of a locksmith, and the police teams entered the residence. In the bedroom of the residence, Hüseyin Uyucu was removed from the bed by the police, and it was determined that he gave contradictory, nonsensical, and inconsistent answers to the questions asked by the police regarding the incident. It was established that the suspect exhibited behavior aimed at escaping from the crime, that there were signs of struggle in the residence, and that there were blood stains and broken glass pieces. Although Uyucu claimed that the glass pieces in the residence occurred during a discussion that arose after the victim had a nervous breakdown before the incident, it was determined that there were no cuts on the victim's hands and arms according to the autopsy report."

It was recorded that Hüseyin Uyucu committed the crime of "intentionally killing a person who is in a state of being unable to defend themselves physically and mentally" by breaking the victim's resistance by administering drugs and throwing the victim out of the kitchen window from a height of approximately 40 meters, and an aggravated life imprisonment sentence was requested against him.
