The Ministry of Justice made a statement regarding the claims that have sparked public debate about the judicial process of the case involving Ekrem İmamoğlu, which has been reported in some media outlets. The statement emphasized that reports claiming a judge said, "I apologize, I have to arrest," do not reflect the truth, and it was highlighted that such content is disinformation and aimed at influencing judicial processes.

The Ministry of Justice made a statement regarding the allegations related to the case in which Ekrem İmamoğlu's name was also mentioned, which appeared in some media outlets.

“THE ALLEGATIONS DO NOT REFLECT THE TRUTH" 

In the statement, it was noted that reports claiming a judge said, “I apologize, I have to arrest,” and that an arrest warrant was issued without evidence are false. It was expressed that such content aims to discredit judicial processes and mislead the public.

“QUALIFIED AS DISINFORMATION”

The statement emphasized that the allegations in question were deliberately circulated, and it was recorded that these shares contained disinformation.

The statement also reminded that spreading misleading information to the public constitutes a crime under Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code.
