In the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş, retired police officer Faruk Seringeç drowned while fishing at the Kesik Dam Pond. Search and rescue teams reached Seringeç's lifeless body following a report made by a friend.
Retired police officer Faruk Seringeç drowned in the dam lake where he went fishing in the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş. The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Kesik Dam Lake in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood. According to the allegation, Faruk Seringeç went fishing in the dam lake with his friend. While Seringeç was fishing by the water, his friend went up the lake and noticed after a while that Seringeç was no longer in his place. After Faruk Seringeç's friend called for help from 112, gendarmerie, health, AFAD, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area.
AFTER ABOUT 1 HOUR OF WORK, THE UNFORTUNATE MAN'S DEAD BODY WAS FOUND
Teams that quickly arrived at the scene initiated a search and rescue operation around the lake and its surroundings. After approximately 1 hour of work by divers affiliated with the fire department, Faruk Seringeç's lifeless body was found. After the examination at the scene, the body of retired police officer Faruk Seringeç was taken to the Kahramanmaraş Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy.
