Bakshi claimed that Turkey is intervening in Kashmir and demonstrating military power, stating, "If necessary, we can turn Turkey into hell. Turkey has been behaving badly for some time."
As tensions rise between India and Pakistan, statements targeting Turkey from the New Delhi front have started to attract attention. Retired General Gagandeep Bakshi, known for his closeness to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, made brazen remarks about Turkey.

Speaking on Indian journalist Neena Rai's YouTube channel New India Junction, General Bakshi claimed that Turkey intends to revive the caliphate and has ambitions of leadership in the Muslim world. Accusing Turkey of being directly hostile to India, Bakshi threatened, "If necessary, we can turn Turkey into hell. Turkey has been behaving badly for a while."
CLAIM OF "SENDING 3,000 PEOPLE TO KASHMIR"
Bakshi alleged that Turkey has intervened in the India-Pakistan tension, claiming that Turkey has sent a contingent of 3,000 personnel to the Kashmir region.
"TURKEY IS SEEKING TO DEMONSTRATE POWER"
The Indian commander stated that Turkey is trying to position itself as a power on the international stage, saying, "They are trying to be a world power, they want to show that they are, but India has nuclear weapons and space capabilities. Turkey does not have such capacity."
