TEARS FLOWED AT THE FIRST CEREMONY Ferdi Zeyrek's wife, Nurcan Zeyrek, spoke at the ceremony with tears, saying, "He always told me, 'Nurcan, stand tall. We have three children.' I promised him today that I will always stand tall. His heart is with me," and asked for forgiveness from the citizens present.

When he was here, we had no worries; now that he is gone, I don't know what we will do. There is no one else who deserves to be loved as much as he was. Because he was someone who could love selflessly," he said.
