In Istanbul's Beykoz district, a service minibus and a car collided. In the accident, 11 people were injured, one of them seriously.
The accident occurred around 23:00 on Akbaba Road in Merkez Mahallesi. A service minibus with license plate 34 LZH 129 and a car with license plate 34 NSB 136 collided for an unknown reason. Due to the impact, the car driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
THE INJURED WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE
Upon notification from witnesses, fire department, police, medical teams, and UMKE were dispatched to the scene. The driver trapped inside the car was rescued by fire department intervention. In the accident, 11 people, including one critically injured, were hurt from the minibus and the car. After initial treatment at the scene, the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The road was closed to traffic for a while due to the accident. After the vehicles were removed by tow trucks, traffic flow returned to normal.
