An Anadol brand pickup truck placed on the roof of a house in Niğde's Kayırlı village draws attention with its interesting appearance. The pickup truck, lifted to the roof of the three-story house about 10 years ago by classic vehicle enthusiast Fikret Yücel with the help of a crane, has become one of the village's landmarks.
INTERESTING SCENE INCREASES INTEREST IN THE VILLAGE
The new owners of the house, sold after Yücel passed away some time later, did not remove the vehicle. Visitors to the village take pictures with the truck on the roof, and the intriguing sight has boosted interest in the area.
Village headman Hüseyin Yılmaz stated that people who see the vehicle are astonished, saying, "Those who see it are very surprised; they call me and ask out of curiosity. They say things like, 'Such things usually happen in the Black Sea region, so it seems they are now seen around here as well.'"
