Turkish flags were hung at the family home of Specialist Sergeant Eren Kızıldağ (25), who was injured by gunfire from PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq and martyred in the hospital he was taken to, in the Kozan district of Adana.

On November 16, Specialist Sergeant Eren Kızıldağ, who was injured by gunfire from PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq, was martyred at GATA where he was receiving treatment. Turkish flags were hung at the family home of the martyred Specialist Sergeant Kızıldağ in the Taş neighborhood of Kozan district in Adana. Relatives who received the sad news flocked to the family home to offer condolences. It was learned that the martyr, who was married and the eldest of five siblings, would be laid to rest on Wednesday in the Ormancık neighborhood of Feke district.

In a statement made on social media by the Ministry of National Defense regarding the martyr Kızıldağ, it was stated, "Our heroic comrade Mu. Uzm. Çvş. Eren Kızıldağ, who was seriously injured by harassment fire opened by members of the separatist terrorist organization on November 16, 2024, in the Pençe-Kilit operation area, and whose treatment continued at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and was martyred on December 2, 2024. We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has deeply saddened us, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
