A Taiwanese tourist was found dead in a hotel room in Cappadocia.

The incident took place at a hotel in Ürgüp district of Nevşehir. According to the information obtained, Taiwanese tourist H.S.C. (61), who settled in a hotel in Ürgüp for a Cappadocia tour on Friday, went to Ürgüp State Hospital yesterday evening after feeling unwell. After receiving treatment, the Taiwanese tourist returned to the hotel and rested in his room. This morning, he participated in a hot air balloon tour. After the balloon tour, H.S.C. returned to his hotel feeling unwell again and canceled his Cappadocia tour, choosing to rest in his hotel room. In the evening, another Taiwanese tourist who had gone on the tour entered the room where H.S.C. was staying and found him lying motionless.



The cause of death will be determined through an autopsy. Upon the notification of the hotel staff, they called 112 and requested a medical team. The medical team that arrived at the hotel confirmed that the Taiwanese tourist had passed away. Upon the notification of 112, the police and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene. H.S.C.'s lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Ürgüp State Hospital for autopsy.



An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
