A First in Şanlıurfa: A female driver will start working in public transportation.

The Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality, Mehmet Kasım Gülpınar, BELSAN General Manager, Habip Arslan, and driver candidates participated in the lottery draw, which was held in front of cameras and in the presence of a notary. As a result of the lottery, a female driver who will work in public transportation vehicles in the coming days was also determined.

In his speech at the lottery draw, Mayor Gülpınar said, "There will be no more employment with favoritism. Justice, law, and fairness are very important to us. We will act with the mentality of 'Let whoever is destined to have it'. Because tomorrow, we will be held accountable for all of these. From now on, if there is any recruitment, God willing, I will participate in all lottery draws. Today, we have a female driver among us in the lottery draw, and we are conducting a lottery draw of 120 plus 1. We have a female captain, which will be a first in Şanlıurfa. Hopefully, this will set a good example. I wish all the drivers who will be employed good luck."
