THE DEAD BODIES OF FATHER AND DAUGHTER FOUND AT HOME
Relatives of Aydın Ertürk, who lives in the Turgut Özal neighborhood of the Yenimahalle district, could not reach him last night and requested help from the site management. When the locksmith called by the site management opened the door, the lifeless bodies of Aydın Ertürk and his daughter Deren were found inside.
CAUSES OF DEATH: CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING
Upon notification, health, police, fire, and natural gas administration teams were dispatched to the address. In the initial examination conducted by the teams, it was determined that the father and daughter were poisoned by carbon monoxide gas due to a natural gas leak. The bodies of the father and daughter were sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution.
The funerals of Aydın Ertürk, a mathematics teacher at the Etimesgut Özkan Erdek Vocational Training Center, and his daughter Deren Ertürk were received by their relatives and buried after the autopsy procedures.
The apartment manager Tuncer Balcanlı stated, "When we entered, we encountered the bodies of Mr. Aydın and his daughter in the kitchen. The people we spoke to told us that he had no psychological disorders. His communication with us was also good." An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
