A vehicle that lost control of its driver rolled into the Zernek Dam Lake in Van. It was learned that there were 3 people in the car, and teams have started search and rescue operations at the scene. The lifeless body of 1 person has been found, and search efforts for the other 2 individuals are ongoing.

A terrible accident occurred around 09:30 at the 45th kilometer of the Van-Hakkari highway. The car, whose license plate and driver's name are unknown, lost control and rolled into the Zernek Dam Lake.

It was reported that there were 3 people in the car, and upon notification, AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, and health teams were dispatched to the accident site. Teams initiated search and rescue operations in the area.
